Account Manager sought by established BI/Analytics vendor to focus on new business generation. This is a successful international vendor, with a comprehensive product suite covering a core BI platform, analytics and performance management offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Generate, qualify, and close new sales opportunities which may require preparing and performing demonstrations
at customer sites.
- Manage and keep excellent relations with existing accounts.
- Maintain an accurate and precise sales forecast in Salesforce.com.
- Achieve sales targets detailed in compensation plan.
- Communicate benefits to potential clients while developing the visibility of the company within the
region.
- Work within a team and contribute to its development and success
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position with a proven track record of over-achievement selling high value software into Finance, Retail Banking or other commercial organisations.
- Aggressive and overachieving sales personality driven by a challenge. Passionate about being successful in the job.
- Ability to self start and self motivate; demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach in achieving targets.
- Close working relationships with senior commercial and technical players at key customers.
- Ability to deliver technical benefits as well as sales benefits.
- Proven record of achievement at or above quota.
- Use of sales qualification and account development disciplines.
Location: flexible, can be home-based
Salary package: to £55k basic, £110k ote, benefits
