Project Manager with strong recent Business Intelligence / Data Integration experience required by successful software vendor.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients as necessary to develop deliverables, communicate expectations, and successfully deliver high-value deliverables
- Identify business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project
- Lead the projects from inception through completion, ensuring all project milestones are met and that the project is delivered on schedule and on budget
- Manage creation and execution of test plans
- Conduct project status meetings
- Report status to client and management team on a consistent basis
- Responsible for project budget management and change control
- Manage project issues as they arise including those relating to schedule, project team, change control and technical or product.
- Project /Practice Management
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Requirements
- 5-7 years project management experience with previous technical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field
- Prince 2 Certified
- Experience of BI and Integration type projects
- Experience of both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
- Happy to travel and be away from home for periods of time
- Proven ability to effectively scope and document requirements
- Proven ability to manage projects of varying size and complexity
Location: South East
Salary package: to £60,000 Basic, 15% bonus, car allowance, benefits
