Job: Solutions Architect – J2EE, MDM, SOA

Hands-on Solutions Architect with experience in the delivery of enterprise-level J2EE and SOA solutions required by leading UK data management consultancy. The Solutions Architect is a client-facing role which involves responsibility for the design and integration of complex solutions based on a J2EE/SOA Master Data Management (MDM) platform. The role requires an individual with strong experience of delivering solutions based on SOA design principles and J2EE architecture, and will work in small focused project teams, meaning that hands-on technical skills are necessary. Candidates should have a strong skill set across the following areas:

• J2EE – EJB, MDB, JDBC, Core Java, Hibernate, JPA
• Websphere or Weblogic
• Data modelling
• SOA, Web Services (eg JAXB, JAX-RPC)
• Integration and Middleware (eg JMS, MQ or similar)
• XML/XSLT
• Solution design

Candidates must be comfortable with a client-facing consultancy role, with travel. Full solution training will be given.
